Ein MODELISMO NAVAL BAUKASTEN--MADE IN SPAIN*Rarität 80-iger Jahre

Die Alert, die in Dover von Henry Ladd gebaut wurde und am 24. Juni 1777 vom Stapel lief, war die größte Kutterklasse der Royal Navy. Ursprünglich hatte die Alert zehn Vierpfünder-Lafettenkanonen und sechs bis zwölf Halbpfünder-Schwenkkanonen. Sie war einer von fünfzehn Kuttern, die zwischen 1777 und 1778 für die königliche Marine gebaut wurden. Kleinere Kutter wurden oft von privaten Werften gekauft oder gebaut und dann von der Marine erworben, aber die Alert wurde vom Kiel an speziell für diesen Zweck gebaut.
